Registry and population

NEW: KIDS-ID

From 1 May 2009, launch of the new kids-ID, a travel document for children under 12. The former blank identity cards will remain valid until their expiry date.

Procedure: go to the town hall at least one month before your departure date, with a photo of the child and 3€

 

Population / Registry Service

The service is open 8.00 - 12.30 and 13.30 - 16.00 (17.00 on Tuesdays), as well as on Saturdays 9.00 - 12.00 in term time. The town hall is closed on Thursday afternoons.

Duties: changes of address, identity cards, driving licences, passports, extracts from police records, composition of households, and other extracts from the population or municipal registers; marriages, deaths, recognitions before birth.

Requests for information made in person: if the information requested concerns you, you can always ask verbally, in writing or via our e-guichet, for an extract or certificate. You will have to pay a municipal tax for most documents according to their purpose (additional information in the e-guichet section).

Request for information made by a third party: Any person or institution can be given an extract or certificate concerning another person, if the document is necessary to perform or continue a procedure required by law (relations between creditor and debtor, court summons, seizures, petitions, etc.). To do this, you must submit a written and signed request.
